Eliminating negative thoughts
If we want our life to change we have to stop thinking about it and start taking action. Maybe we want less internal resistance to completing the report. Maybe we want better health and relationships. Maybe we want more wealth.
Whatever we want, if we are not gaining traction then there is a voice inside that’s not helping us along.
Yesterday I gave you a list of 154 words that when substituted for words you use now, can improve your sense of meaning and enjoyment from life. Today I want to challenge you further-to stop any negative thoughts taking root in your mind: Annoyance with boss, doubt about future actions, road rage, frustration with your coffee. Anything that’s not positive ditch it quickly and move your thoughts on to something else.
I started this challenge this morning as I’ve a couple of hurdles which are delaying my goals. So it’s 7 days of “no negative thoughts for me”. I can’t see any downsides in that. Whatcha reckon – want to join me?
(If you want to know more about this idea, check out the book- The 7 day mental diet)
